BREAKING: Campus mourns over loss of student, Raoul S. Soans

Update: Eileen G. Sullivan, Interim Associate Vice President for Student Affairs confirmed in a campus-wide email that Raoul S. Soans has passed away. Students who are struggling are encouraged to reach out to Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), located in Building 66, room 116. The cause of death has not been released.

The University Police Department is seeking the campus community’s help in finding student Raoul S. Soans.

Soans, who has been reported missing, was last seen on October 18th at about 9:49 p.m., leaving his campus residence, the University Village, 3400 Poly Vista. He left in a silver 2018 Ford Escape with the Texas license plate KWB3607. 

He was last seen wearing a black long sleeved shirt and dark blue pants. Soans is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
