Families and students hopped into the spring spirit by petting farm animals, hunting for Easter eggs and shopping for fresh farm store finds at the Spring on the Farm Egg Hunt on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, hosted by the university’s Agriscapes center offered family-friendly events such as hayrides, a petting zoo, gardening activities for children and an Easter egg hunt, all included in ticket prices ranging from $6-$9 depending on age.

Kids were eager to get their hands in soil and plant peas and beans among other plant seeds available.
Children interacted with animals from CPP’s own petting farm.
Long lines formed as many wanted to experience a hayride around CPP’s farm.
Goats, sheep and bunnies from CPP’s petting zoo amused kids, students and families.
