Broncos open up the conference with a 3-2 victory

The men’s soccer team defeated the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes 3-2 on Thursday night to kick of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) conference play.

The Broncos took the lead early into the first half when junior midfielder Omer Green received a pass from senior forward Jordan Jackmon and blasted into the net to open up the scoring. 

Not long after, the Coyotes tied up the game. However, in the 28th minute, senior midfielder Jimmie Villalobos found the back of the net to take back the lead.

In the second half, junior midfielder Eduardo Faria scored the third and final goal of the night to land the Broncos a 3-2 victory against the Coyotes.
