Don’t waste time between classes

We all know the feeling of wanting to go home after a long day of classes.

In between class times most of us go on our laptops or smartphones, go back to our cars or wait in an empty classroom for our next class to start.

Spending our free time in between classes should not be this dull or apathetic.

Our school has so many different colleges, centers, services and beautiful areas of nature that are much better ways worth spending your free time.

Exploring the different colleges and centers of the university are a great way for students to spend their free time in between classes.

One part of campus that students should explore is The Collins College of Hospitality Management.

Located on top of the main campus, the Collins College is one of the nicest colleges in the school.

With buildings and work areas that are relatively new, the Collins College is a great part of the campus for students to relax, study and take in the beautiful view surrounding the college.

The Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies is also another part of campus that students should explore.

Located off the main campus and past the CPP Farm Store, the Lyle Center houses lush areas of plant life and wildlife.

The Lyle Center is a great part of campus for students to walk through and enjoy the scenery.

Both the Collins College and Lyle Center do require a lot of walking to reach, but the shuttles go to each area.

Another great service the school provides to students is the Bronco Recreational and Intramural Complex which is located near the suites.

The BRIC can be a great place for students to exercise or take up a new sport in between classes.

The BRIC also has showers for students to freshen up before class.

Another great service the school provides is the Games Room Etc., which is located inside the Bronco Student Center.

With multiple arcade games, pool tables and ping pong tables, the Games Room can be a great place for students to de-stress from homework and midterms by playing games that bring back childhood memories.

Within the school there are beautiful areas of nature that students can relish during their free time in between classes.

The Rose Garden located near the business building is a great area of nature for students to appreciate botanical areas of life.

However, picking a rose is strictly banned and will be met with a hefty fine from the school.

The koi pond, located near the Classroom, Laboratory and Administration Building and the duck pond, located near the dorms, are also great areas of nature where students can cherish animal life.

And like the Rose Garden, the school has rules in these areas restricting students from feeding the animals.

Spending time in between classes should not be a drag.

There are better ways to enjoy the day than browsing the internet, sleeping in the privacy of a car or sitting in our next class to make the day go by faster.

Exploring the different colleges and centers, taking advantage of different services and enjoying beautiful areas of nature are just some ways to enjoy the free time you have in between classes.
