Letters to the Editor
Letters should run between 250 and 500 words and may be edited for accuracy, clarity, length, style and libel. All submissions should not exceed 8×10 in. and must include the author’s full name, telephone number and other relevant information, such as class standing, major and place of residence. All submissions should be emailed to editor@thepolypost.com.

News & Managing Editor | Victoria Mejicanos
Victoria is a fourth-year multimedia journalism student, and when she isn’t running the Poly Post’s news section, she’s writing for CalMatters. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to new music and watercoloring.
Arts & Culture Editor | Teresa Acosta
Teresa is a fourth-year multimedia journalism student, she is also pursuing a minor in theatre. Her goal is to work as an audio journalist in public radio. Aside from her editor duties she loves watching movies, sewing costumes, reading, game nights and traveling the world.
Sports Editor | Samantha Campion
Samantha is a student-athlete who developed a passion for writing about sports and the opportunities within the field. She hopes to pursue a career in the sports industry as an analyst or an agent. She enjoys going on walks and hanging out with friends in her free time.
Copy Editor | Gavin Claiborne
Gavin is a fourth-year multimedia journalism student, and — whether it be journalism or authorship — he aspires to be a writer of some sort. In spare time, Gavin enjoys reading biographies, watching sports (especially basketball), playing video games and grubbing.

Ryan Leon — a fourth-year multimedia journalism student — is an aspiring journalist who wants to cover the video game industry. When he isn’t gaming, Ryan enjoys watching movies, sports, television shows and hanging out with friends.

Darren is a fourth-year Multimedia Journalism student aspiring to be a photojournalist. When he’s not out taking photos for a story, he can be found out in the mountains, be it hiking, climbing or taking more photos.

Billy Huang is a 5th year Multimedia Journalism student. As the Video Editor for The Poly Post, he dedicated almost two years editing, producing and directing regularly scheduled episodes of Poly Post Now on YouTube. Aspiring to become a director in the broadcast industry one day, Huang sees everyday as an opportunity to gain more hands-on experience while serving the campus community with the most leading CPP news.

Jerry is a 3rd year multimedia journalism student. When he isn’t running social media for The Poly Post, he can be found playing video games or practicing percussion instruments such as the marimba.

Kristine is a fourth-year multimedia journalism student from Pasadena who enjoys music, baking and fashion. When she’s not writing, she’s probably watching “Gilmore Girls,” reading or drinking coffee. My big three: Aries, Scorpio and Libra!
Audio Editor | Katie Priest
Katie Priest fell in love with podcasting after listening to the inaugural season of Serial. After a discussion with the series creator, she found herself wanting to create podcasts, too. Her love of podcast creation led her to a multimedia editor position at her community college’s newspaper. She holds a soft spot for dark/new wave music, and she currently resides in the Inland Empire.
