Monso breaks all-time record

Sergi Monso scored his 36th career goal on Friday in the CCAA Tournament against San Francisco State making him Cal Poly Pomona’s all-time leading male goalscorer.

Monso passed Johnny Lima who set the previous record in 1988. Friday’s goal also tied Monso for the single season scoring record of 19 goals. The CCAA named Monso offensive player of the year as well as first team all-CCAA.
