He loves me. He loves me not. He loves me — Wait, what sign is he? Yes, that will determine if we are meant to be.
Everyone has an opinion on astrology. It seems that no one has a casual stance on the matter. Most people either hate it or follow it with everything they have.
While horoscopes have always been around, the current popularity of the trend varies.

Right now, it’s at a high, so much that The Atlantic published an article earlier this year titled “The New Age of Astrology.”
The beginning of the article calls astrology a meme and talks about how millennials make jokes about the signs and retrogrades, and how internet meme culture and astrology go hand-in-hand because of the absurdity of it all.
However, deeper into the article, the writer explores psychology and how astrology can help people cope with the stresses of daily life.
Millennials are easily the most stressed generation, according to the American Psychological Association. There is discussion about how astrology can make real life seem “shinier” so the crises of the world don’t seem so bleak, and people have the confidence to go about daily life.
The reason I believe in astrology is because I like to believe in fate.
I like to believe that some things aren’t just coincidences, but rather, are meant to be.
Astrology does go further than “Today, Libras will have good fortune at work” or “A Cancer’s love life is at risk” the way that cheesy websites declare.
Birth charts are individually assigned based on factors special to everyone.
It is fun to believe because when and where I was born influences my life and I could live a completely different life if I was born one day later or have a different personality if I was born somewhere else, and a different planet was looking down on me.
In a sense, it’s giving up control. Not everything I have to decide, because it’s not up to me.
I go through life and take signs from the universe to guide me as I make decisions. Not everything has to be scientifically explained.
Many people act according to their zodiac signs and there’s no way that is a coincidence.
There are many factors which affect the world.
The placement of the moon affects the oceans, and even though there is a scientific explanation for it, why would humans be any different? Why can’t the placement of Saturn affect how we act on a certain day?
Humans try to separate themselves from nature as if we aren’t a part of nature. People are made of stardust, so who is to say stars don’t influence us?
Even if you don’t believe in the stars and planets, it’s worth checking out, if only for fun.Who knows? You might just let the stars guide you.
