This year’s graduation is fast approaching for seniors, but that doesn’t mean that other students who are not graduating now aren’t already planning for what they’re going to do after they get their diplomas.
“I hope to graduate top of my class and have an internship in engineering that will spark creativity, excitement and fun. Aside from my career, I aspire to help my parents and motivate my siblings to be their best selves.”
“My plans after graduating are to fulfill my life goal … to just be truly happy.”
“My plan after graduation is to continue my education and pursue my master’s even though I don’t know yet where I would like to go … I would like to continue my education so I can become an occupational therapist.”
“After graduation I would like to think that I would most likely have an internship anywhere that involves nuclear physics. I would also consider a path towards higher education, potentially receive my master’s or something higher?”
“I would like to continue my education to receive a master’s degree under my major and potentially study out-of-state. My plan is to pursue occupational or physical therapy because I know that a lot of schools out of California have great programs for the two options.”
“I currently have a summer internship with Raytheon which is an aerospace defense system company, where I hope to stay and hopefully become a full-time employee. I recently realized as I walked down the Hall of Fame by the engineering building that no Hispanic engineers had been recognized nor Hispanic professors could be seen. I took that sign as a potential calling and I am now considering pursuing my master’s and returning to Cal Poly [Pomona] to become a professor.”
