Students share their thoughts on how the Kellogg exit closure on interstate 10 will impact commutes.
“I don’t normally take the freeway, but it sounds like my traffic wait will be a lot longer than maybe two hours.”
“It will probably delay me. I already have to spend an hour extra to find parking.”
“My morning commute will make me have to wake up earlier than I do already, then to find parking too, then I’ll be late to class.”
“Hopefully it doesn’t affect my health because I’ll be getting a lack of sleep to find alternative ways to get to school, considering traffic.”
“The 10 freeway is my second route home, so I’ll probably have to take the streets which will take longer for me.”
“Absolutely nothing. I take local streets. I don’t drive during peak hours either.”
“I don’t take the freeways, but it will make my streets busier, so I’ll have to come earlier because their routes are closed.”
“I’ll have to take side-streets, which will take longer so that’s a hassle …. I guess it’s just something we’ll all have to go through.”
