Spring Career Fair plans for over 225 employers

The Spring Career Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on April 26 at the university quad.

Multiple companies and internships will be searching for potential employees at this highly anticipated event.

Many companies such as Bimbo Bakeries and PepsiCo have been impressed with past career fairs and will be returning this year. New companies will be attending as well such as the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, the Compass Group, Inc. and PBF Torrance Refining Co.

It caters to the graduating seniors, but all are welcomed to gain experience talking to prospective employers.

Students should take advantage of the “record-breaking” amount of companies present.

Over two-hundred employers will be in the quad to assist students with their post-graduation plans.

Under the colorful umbrellas, opportunities of a lifetime will await the students who have been seasoned by the “learn-by-doing” philosophy at Cal Poly.

Business attire is highly recommended. It is important that students bring their updated resume.

Any student who needs help with looking business ready can visit the Career Center’s Clothes Closet.

The Career Center also provides resume writing assistance.
