Theatre focuses on next generation

The Student-Written Play Festival will be this month and next in the Studio Theatre at Cal Poly Pomona.

The play will be held in the studio theatre at Cal Poly Pomona.

The Play festival will feature four original plays written by four CPP playwright students, and will tell contemporary stories.

Topics include slavery, alcohol and love among others.

The stories are intended to appeal to a modern audience.

The festival will be Jan. 25 to 27, and Feb. 1 to the 4.

All shows will be 8 p.m, except the Feb. 4, which will be 2 p.m.

Tickeets can purchase through the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences website.

Tickets are $10 for students, faculty, staff and seniors, $12 for CPP alumni and $15 for general admission.
